In order to work with zebrafish within the H221 or J083b fish facilities, one must first pass the online U.W.: Animal Use Laws and Regulations Training, fill out a Request for Addition of New Personnel to Animal Use Protocol, and submit a EH&S OHS Form 604 animal use screen form. Additionally, if you wish to access to our quarantine laboratory where fish can be imported from outside our colony, you will need to sign up for and attend a 6th floor Comparative Medicine SPF training class to gain access to the quarantine lab. And if you work directly for the fish facility i.e. a primary caregiver, you will need to attend an aquatics training course.
